By accessing or using WP FixBoard (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Who May Use the Service

• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country.
• You must be able to form a legally binding agreement where you live.
• If posting on behalf of an organisation, you must have permission to do so.
• You must not be someone we have previously banned from the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site, and the “Effective” date above will change. Continuing to use WP FixBoard after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

WP FixBoard is a free, community-driven board for getting help with WordPress problems. You post an issue, and the community — helped along by AI-assisted suggestions — works toward a fix. Every issue moves through clear statuses so you can follow progress.

How the Process Works

Because this is a free hobby project, you understand that help is provided as time allows and that nobody here is under any obligation to solve your issue.

To help issues get answers quickly, WP FixBoard may generate replies automatically using AI. Replies drafted this way are posted by the WPFixBoard support assistant, and anything the AI is unsure about is flagged for me to review.

You can read issues without an account, but posting issues and replies requires a free account. When you sign up you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful information when registering.
• Keep your password secret and be responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Use only one account per person — no throwaway or duplicate accounts.
• Be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age for online consent in your country.

“Content” means anything you post to WP FixBoard — issue descriptions, replies, code snippets, error logs, screenshots, and links.

You Keep Ownership

You own your Content. By posting it here, you grant WP FixBoard a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it on the board so others can read and learn from it.

Your Responsibilities

• You confirm you have the right to post your Content and that it does not breach anyone else’s rights.
• Remove real secrets before posting — redact passwords, API keys, hosting credentials, and personal data.
• Code snippets you choose to share are understood to be offered freely for the benefit of others.
• You accept that Content posted publicly may be read, copied, or reused by visitors.

Editing & Removal

We may edit titles and tags for clarity, move issues between categories, or remove Content that breaks these Terms. Spam, malicious code, and leaked secrets will be removed without notice.

The WP FixBoard Platform

The WP FixBoard name, logo, design, and underlying code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy the brand or impersonate the project.

Third-Party Software

Issues usually involve plugins, themes, or hosting you did not get from us. Those products belong to their own authors and are governed by their own licences. WP FixBoard is independent of and not endorsed by the WordPress Foundation or any plugin/theme vendor.

Use Suggestions at Your Own Risk

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” FOR FREE, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Fixes and replies come from community members and automated AI suggestions, which can be wrong, outdated, or unsafe for your specific setup.

• Always back up your site before applying any suggested fix.
• Test changes on a staging site first where possible.
• We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, or damage caused by following advice posted here.
• Nothing here is professional, legal, or security advice.

Limitation of Damages

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WPFIXBOARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

You can stop using WP FixBoard at any time. To request account deletion, contact us through the contact page.

By Us

We may suspend or close accounts, remove Content, or end access at any time, including when:

• You breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use rules.
• Your activity creates legal, security, or spam risks for the board.
• We receive a valid legal request requiring action.
• The hobby project is paused or wound down.

On termination, surviving clauses (ownership, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.

You agree to hold WP FixBoard harmless from claims or losses arising from:

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the whole agreement for using WP FixBoard.
• Severability: If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
• No Waiver: Not enforcing a rule once does not give up the right to enforce it later.
• Governing Law: These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the country where the Service is hosted.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events outside reasonable control.
